Eric was a good friend. I wish I had known him longer than I did, having first met him after high school. Through DnD I got to know him quite well. He was always cheery and had a great sense of humor. I am very saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family and all who have known him.

We are shocked beyond measure that your beloved son Eric has died. You and the girls have our greatest sympathy.

Eric was many things to me. But most importantly he was a role model. As a kid he was nothing but kind and patient with me even though I was so much younger then he was. He is in my mind one of the greatest men I have ever known, and I will never forget what he taught me as a kid, and the joy that he has given me to this day.

Dear Annie,
My mom called me yesterday to tell me the devasting news. I know we haven't spoken in a LONG time, but I wanted to tell you that I am so sorry. I was absolutely shocked with the news, as I'm sure everyone else was. I hope you are well, my heart goes out to you and your family. This has been a rough few years for you, and for that, I am so very sorry. Stay well.
