So sorry to hear about Eric. I met him in high school. Saw him occasionally over the years, mostly in the 70s and 80s. Very friendly, pleasant guy. May he R.I.P.

I was a crew member with him on board the U.S.S. Barbey. He was always fun to be around. I remember he wanted to quit smoking back then. So, everything he would light up in front of me , I would flick the cigarette out of his mouth. But, then I left, so I guess he didn't quit.

OMG. I am so sorry for your loss and to hear this. We sat very near each other in school and then reconnected on FB. We did not agree on everything, but I will miss him. I am so very, very sorry.
