Not sure what to say?

This is in response to the Legacy.com email on the anniversary of the death of Eric Blum on June 9, 2013. I still remember Eric well in his growing up years and wished to let the family know that Eric's Scout Master, Dennis Horgan, has passed away 1 1/2 years ago. The family can contact me at our "long ago" contacts. Anna Belle Horgan

Rest in Peace, Eric. Only met you once but have been kept informed of your activities. Proud to be your Cousin. You are in my Prayers daily. Tom

Eric Blum was one of the finest professional nurses I ever had the pleasure and honor of calling a colleague and friend. His work ethic was exemplary. He was a kind and intelligent gentleman. May his family family find strength and peace.

Eric,

One of my fondest memories was watching you and David sitting on the floor putting together the race track for Joshua's birthday. And lets not forget the little 4 wheeler as well the boys had many years of fun with that. You were always a kid at heart. Your friendship meant the world to David and Spencer. The UVA games will never be the same for either of them. I loved your sarcasm it is what made you you. Most of all I so appreciate your friendship with David he misses you...

My little buddie! The only one at work that shared my passion of BBQ and had the confidence that I would succeed ! I will always remember NJ contest with the Frost Valley guys! I am so glad that i was there for you when you needed me as you were for all those contest!

It was a pleasure to work with Eric in the OR. He had such a great attitude about his work that it allowed him to be an excellent role model for others. I am honored to call him a friend. Our prayer is that God may send peace to his family and friends.

With tears in my eyes, I subscribe to Mark Gottdenker´s words: "The world is a lesser place without you". With such a human impact on so many, you were, no doubt, A VERY VERY PRECIOUS GEM: For me, THE MOST "NOBLE" PRIZE OF ALL!! AND YOU ALWAYS SCORED!!. WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY HUMAN BEING! WHAT A MODEL! I will always be indebted to you, remember you and love you. Lourdes
(Frost Valley companion and friend)

Remembering Eric from his days of "floor nursing" on 5C at UVA. He was an excellent nursing role model that helped mold many nursing careers. He will be missed!

Eric, you will be missed greatly. I enjoyed all the years we worked together and our friendship even after leaving VA.
Going to all the good and bad UVA football games.
You and your family will be in my thought and prayers. Will miss you my friend.
