Not sure what to say?

Eric was one of the funniest guys I ever met. He was fast with good humor. His mind was astonishingly quick and lively. I worked with him at Raytheon West Andover during the 70's. He was an example of the type of person I still strive to be. He was very intelligent and witty. He may have been a genius. My life is better from knowing him. At only 60 years old, it is true that the good die young. As I write this I cannot stop crying. The world has lost one of the greatest guys that ever lived....

My deepest sympathy to Tim and Diane.
Eric is the 1/2 brother that I never met. After reading all these messages, I am convinced it was/is my loss.
I would love to hear from either Tim or Diane.

Ted Bogle

On this day, for all those many years, I thanked you for your bravery, your humanity and your sacrifice but most of all for coming home. Thank you once again.
Love. Always.

“We were soldiers once, and young” I have so many fond memories of Eric from the Quincy Community Theater days. We were both Vietnam combat vets who didn’t have a care in the world because we made it home. I can still hear him laugh and feel the pain in my stomach from laughing with him. What a sense of humor. He saw the best in everything and everybody. My deepest sympathies to Eric’s family. Eric was one of a kind and I regret not reaching out over the years to rekindle a great...

I would like to thank everyone for their extremely kind words and great memories. My father was certainly one of a kind. His humor and love of life will be something I WILL carry with me and use to my fullest. Along with everyone else, I miss him and am just glad I told him I loved him the last time I saw him. Thank you everyone. -I love you Dad- Hoorah!

Dear Diane,
I was so saddened to hear of Eric's passing. He was always larger than life to me. The last time I saw him was at my mother's viewing over 13 years ago and I was so touched that he came. My mother loved him so much. I have so many memories going all the way back to Camp Hayward and Burgess and running races (shirts and skins) around Spectacle Pond. Moving from a stark YMCA camp with only screens (remember how cold August nights could be?),bunkbeds and a long walk to the...

I knew Eric in Sydney Australia in about 1971, when he was serving in Vietnam. He was very dear to me then, and has remained in my heart. I am grieved to know that my Head Beagle has left us.
