Not sure what to say?

Hello,

We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this holiday season and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Eric T. Caldwell US Army Specialist.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want...

My best friend, my brother, (you always introduced me as your sister) my protector I think of all the fun we had all the laughs and smiles. I remember when I went with you to enroll into the Army. I hated the fact that you were going but you took me with you to ensure that everything was ok and you'd be fine. You were so happy that day.... I remember you kept reading the papers they gave you and I remember you said: " I'm not afraid Dominique, and you shouldn't be either, that's why I'm going...

My heart and soul still miss Eric.

This is so hard for me to write because Eric was the most wonderful person I have ever met in my entire life. I hate to imagine life with you here because I would countine looking for you. Now I only see you in my dreams. Every year I look at your pictures wondering if I am just dreaming, but I know you are singing in the course with the angels. I pray strength from those who knew you best and love and blessings forever.

To the family and friends of Spc. Eric T. Caldwell:
It has truly been my honor to sign Eric's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Eric will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy
