Eric was always a great person. If anyone ever needed help he was there for them. His deep love for his family was amazing. My deepest sympathy to Peggy, Shane, Jamie,,Aaron, and his mother, Mildred. I will also miss him as we go forward but also know he is finally at peace.

I met Eric in 2012 when I started working as a guard for AK Steel. He was one of the most hilarious, caring people that I met right off the bat there. Every time I saw him he had a smile on his face, he could light up the room with his humor. I moved into another position and Eric still came to visit me, even if it was just to say hi, more recently it was to tease me about the "triplets" I was going to be having.
