Not sure what to say?

Remembering Eric, the genius creator, the massive appreciator of fine arts, the lovely and kind friend.

I just heard today of Eric's passing. I knew him through WMUA when we worked there together at UMass. I remember his great zeal for life, his wonderful smile, and know he brought great joy to many during not only his time at UMass and WMUA, but clearly over his lifetime. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Eric's passing and sadly I just learned of the news today. I would have attended the memorial had I known in time. I am sorry for your loss.

I worked with Eric a few years ago and I am glad to have known him for the time that I did. He was full of heart, talent, and a beautiful spirit. I remember his smile so well.

Peace.

I knew Eric only through stories and tidbits via his beautiful parents who I was lucky enough to call friends and neighbors for a few years. He has always been in my heart because of the kindness and acceptance I just know he embodied. Amazing how people can affect each other without ever having actually met. Eric's story has affected how I move through life as a parent. Thank you for that Eric and Heidi and Norm!

a gentle, tiny flame in a wild world, whose light is remembered by all around. Eric's character was exemplary for us all- the so, so, humorous culture vulture, and the irrepressible positivity and love in the face of challenges. May God bless your sad times as he blessed us with Erics life. love, HH

I was in Eric's class at Bromfield and, although we had not kept in touch, fondly remember his smile and kindness throughout those high school years. I'm so sorry for your loss, which is being felt all those whose lives he touched.

Dear Heidi and Norman, Harvey just shared the very sad news of Eric's passing. I am holding Evan, Rain, and you in my prayers. The loss you all must feel is incomprehensible. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Love, Leslie Hopkins

Eric will be dearly missed. He appreciated art and music, was a wonderful listener, a brave activist, and a deeply kind person.

Dear Evan, I am so deeply saddened by the loss of your dear Eric who you were blessed to share your life with. I know you will keep the light of his life and his many commitments alive through your strengths which I hope will also see you through this difficult time. G-d bless you and keep Eric in his arms.
