Not sure what to say?

I will miss Dr. Drumm immensely. He was a great mentor and supported me as a foreign student wanting to learn geotechnical engineering while navigating the cultural pressures. I worked on numerous research projects with Dr. Drumm and I will miss his guidance and support. He left us unexpectedly. May his soul rest peace.

I remember Eric often and cherish his loving memory.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of Eric Drumm. He was a true gentleman and so kind to everyone. He was a great asset to the Univ. of TN. and the construction industry. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Dr. Drumm was an excellent teacher, who cared for his students. I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Drumm as a teacher when I earned my BSCE and MS. Then, he was my department head when I started working on my Ph.D. in Biosystems Engineering. I will always remember his booming voice in class. You could hear him lecture from the hallway. He will be greatly missed.

i met Eric when our sons played baseball at west high school . Many spring and summer days relaxing with family and friends. Then later we spent three days working together on his orange ford truck. what a great man. i am a better person for having known him.

I had known Dr. Eric Drumm since I joined the Biosystems Engineering department at UT in the Fall 2018 session. He was my Ph.D. Co-advisor, but he was also a guide, mentor, and friend. On the day he was hospitalized, we were supposed to run an experiment together. Even though he was not feeling well, he still wanted to go ahead with the test. That goes to show you the level of dedication to science and research Dr. Drumm had. I am glad we got to have a really nice conversation discussing...

Janet:
We were shocked & saddened to hear of Eric's passing. You may remember us from U of A in the early nineties. I have very fond memories of Eric as a kind & friendly soul with an understated sense of humor. I will always cherish the great grad school camaraderie and memories. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
