Not sure what to say?

My heart weeps for your family. My son is a Police Officer and I know the risks your husband took everyday he left for work. Thank you for your support in allowing him to help keep us safe. I am praying for you and your children. I know God will hold your hand through this. I am truly sorry for your loss.

This is surely a very sad accident. I don't know Eric or his family personally. I only know of him from this occurrence. I have lived alone in Ogden for a bit over a year. I have to get my life in order. There are some obstacles, with decent planning this can be dealt with. To me Eric's accident shows me that my time is limited as well. I am sad for your loss. Everything I've seen regarding him is inspirational to me. My knowledge of this event has focused my faith in God. We should all...

Janina, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your dear sweetheart. I watched the Funeral Services televised on KSL. I was brought to tears many times during the service. Especially when the Law Enforcement community showed their respect for Eric at 1st and then many times in between at times of tenderness. Have never seen Governor Hebert show such emotion as he spoke about his Religious feelings. That was good to see, it brings the Spirit close when you show that you are...

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family as I watched the beautiful ceremony and funeral service for Eric. He was a remarkable man, one to be admired for all he stood for, but especially as a husband and father. May you find comfort and peace knowing the plan of salvation is true with knowing Eric is just on his second mission.

Thank you for serving our community and sacrificing your life everyday. You are our hero as well. I watched your funeral via KSL and was so inspired. May you rest in peace until you are reunited with your loved ones again.

We send our deepest sympathy to you and your dear family. What a great hero and example to all of us. Our hearts grieve with you and you will be in our prayers. May the eternals truths you know bring comfort at this time of great sorrow and the arms of His love be wrapped around you and those precious boys.
With love from our family to yours.

We are so very very sorry for your loss. So much love and prayers to you and your children. We are just heartbroken for you.

I don't know you, but I too lost my son in a terrible accident and he was about the same age as yours. My heart aches for your family and you are in my thoughts as you move through this journey. Eric sounds like he was an awesome man.

Praying you will find peace and comfort at this difficult time. I loved teaching both Eric and Janica at West Clinton Elementary. Such beautiful people, with such a sweet love story. Eric, you will be missed by so many. Watch over your loved ones from your heavenly home! Sending love and hugs to your family!
