Our condolences (Exit)

I was just thinking about the the time Eric and were working / goofing around and I slipped on some grease and end up falling and bracing myself with the pizza oven door ended up getting the worst burn ... good times .

Eric - Every time I hear the kids playing outside I expect to see you leading the group. We all miss the energy you brought to our neighborhood and how great you were with all of the boys in the court. Your 6 month anniversary just passed and I still can't believe it. Your family is very strong,make sure that you keep looking down on them and helping them through this.

To my beautiful Son -- there will never be a day that I don't think of you and miss you -- 7 weeks tomorrow it will be since you left this world. I can only hope and pray that I will feel your presence again. Although I will never understand this tragic ending and how I always believed that I could protect you from anything if I tried hard enough, I will do my best to go on for you and for your sisters who miss you beyond belief. Kolleen and family, I offer you my sincerest condolences, and hope your family only retains the strength for one another during this challenging time. I didn't know him, but I know he was special. My prayers are with you and your family. In the garden of life he was of the rarest flowers.

I was amazed that even in your grief, you both reached out to encourage someone else just so they will not have to suffer as your family has.
Thank you for the support you offered.

John and Kolleen: I can't imagine what the loss of a child can feel like. I know it has been about 25 years or so; but my heart goes out to you and your family. Thank the Lord that you have your other children to comfort you in this very sad time. Losing people in my life has been very sad; but take one day at a time, and you will think of the happy times and that is all you will remember.
