Not sure what to say?

Rest in Peace dear friend and sing with the angels!

I was fortunate to spend time with Eric and know him as a good friend. I will always be a better person for having met Eric.

Eric and I worked together at Troutman for many years. He had a very calm and inviting spirit. He always had a joke or comment to brighten someone's day. I will always remember the times I would come over and sit with him and Charlie Grimes for hours. We would laugh and talk and just have a really good time and how we would all get together after the TS holiday party. Eric, you are now in the presence and the arms of the Lord. No more suffering and no more pain. Rest in peace my friend, Love...

I met Eric in the Intervarsity club at DCC. We spent many great hours together. He kept us all in stitches many times. And like Ag Cowan said, his musical abilities were fantastic. Even though I hadn't seen him in years, I will miss him on earth. See u brother on the other side. No more PAIN!! PTL

Eric was sooo special in so many ways. He was cultural, humorous,well-read and up to snuff on current afairs as well as history. His singing voice was terrific. He shared many of my family's special occasions, for which we were tremendously blessed.
Looking forward to seeing you and hearing you sing with God's angels when we are all together again in God's house. Agnes Cowan.

I have known Eric for 32 years. We met at a bible study in junior college. Eric was close to my family, and we also worked together at Troutman Sanders. I will always be blessed for having had Eric in my life, and look forward to seeing him again in God's time.

To the Gervin Family I am a friend and ex-worker at Troutman Sanders of Eric. We use to talk on the telephone quite often after he left and I was laid off from the firm. He would always uplift me even through he was the one ill. I always remembered how much he loved hot sauce and how much he loved and appreciated a good cup of freshly grounded coffee (smile) I will forever miss my friend. Family he is in a better place where he won't have to be in pain. He can sit up on God's big porch (a...

Eric was one of the sweetest, most selfless people I've ever had the pleasure to know. We worked together at Troutman Sanders many years ago. He's free from pain now but left his mark on all the hearts of anyone privileged to know him. God bless you, my friend -- gone too soon. Love, Lori

I have known Eric since childhood. I love you and may you rest in peace.
