Eric was kind, helpful, and always smiling. He was an asset to Oregon Masters Swimming, not only as a swimmer, but as a volunteer. I will miss him.

I met Eric while considering joining the Mt Hood Masters swim team, after having been out of the pool & competition for a few years. Eric was such a nice guy, always ready with a smile & a joke, & even took my ribbing him about his "iron butterfly" with relative good grace. How he was able to do that stroke & not drown himself always amazed me.....not that my butterfly was any better.

He was also gracious enough to consent to be my unofficial mechanic & help me keep my orange...
