Remembering our friend Eric Hahn
Jerrine & Bill Weigand
Such sadness at learning of the loss of a very special man.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
We are blessed to have known Eric, seen his smiling face, heard his laughter, shared the pleasures of great dinners with Eric and Giselle, great convversations, and knew his pride as he watched his children bloom into adulthood.
We will always remember you, dear friend ... in every picture of you we...

Eric, Daniel and Stephen Jan 1992

I would like to offer my condolences to the family. I met Eric around 1980. We became good friends over the next 20 years. Eric was a very intelligent and wise man. We always went for a "catch up" lunch, whenever Eric was in town visiting Brenda, Brian and Crystal. I'm going to miss our yearly lunches. I found two great pictures of Eric with my two boys, Daniel and Stephen Buckler. The first picture was taken Jan 1992 and the second Aug 2000. I'm going to miss you Eric - Cheers!

My father in law was one of the most brilliant men I have met! He loved to read books and absorb every detail written. Eric enjoyed current worldly events and loved to argue American Politics with me. Eric was extremely curious about my job and with a constant faint smile and a brandy at hand, he would ask me a million questions about how I could possibly forecast the weather. I feel so blessed my sons had an opportunity to have been loved by their Opa.

It's been many years since I spent any amount of time around Erik but I will always remember his love of a good argument and of a good shot of brandy. I participated in both and was the better for it. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace. 87.....not bad.
