Not sure what to say?

ehanner was a friend, a mentor, and a teacher to me both in baking and photography. His kindness and wisdom will be missed terribly. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences .

Eric was always the go-getter, the leader and the fun that lit up the room. His children and wife meant everything to him. His most memorable quality was his high level of morality and honor--he always kept his word. May he rest in peace, and his children carry on his legacy as an inspiring, extraordinary human being.

We were shocked and saddened to the grave loss of Erik. Erik was a man that one would always remember and respect all the times for his helpful nature and kind spirit. Erik you will always be remembered...Rest in peace in heaven.

Brittyn, my heart and prayers go out to you and the entire Hanner family. I love you, and pray that God give you peace in knowing that He's got your father in the best care there is. My deepest condolences, from Stella and I.

I "met" Eric on the fresh loaf. Along with all the others on tfl, I will miss his sharing. My condolences to your family.

For ehanner who with his torch encouraged the flame of baking for so many.

Eric was a great friend to many. I knew him via The FreshLoaf and he will be fondly remembered as the guy who would take the time to share. A sad loss. My condoloences to the family and friends.

Dear Brittyn Joe and Gavin,

With sympathy,
Your neighbor and friend, Alesia
