I met Eric when Dan and his friend Tim spent an extra week at Camp Mattatuck when they were about 12. I had to keep them occupied over the weekend when the camp was almost empty and it was quite a challenge. Eric never let me forget it and we remained friends for years. He brought Troop 76 to Mattatuck for years and helped the camp extend its following around the state. Rest in Peace my friend.

He was always a delightful person to be with, his laughter I'll always cherish.
