Eric Howard Irwin Hoffman

To Eric's wife and family, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I was in the CEM program with Eric and remember him as a genuinely nice guy. I have fond memories of working on projects together during our school days. I'm sure he will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Blessings to you.

Dear Jan,, Karine, Jack and Brennen, We were so sad to hear that Eric passed away and you have been in our thoughts ever since. You’ve been incredibly brave through the almost two years as Eric lived with cancer. Jan, it seemed you strived hard to keep your life with Eric as normal and positive through it all. He was such a good man and will be remembered for many qualities, but his sweet smile is what we will hold in our hearts. Sending loving prayers~

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I have known Eric as long as I can remember as my mother (Eliza Bradford) was there housekeeper for years. Please know I am praying for family.

My mother, Liz Hoffman Dasch, was very fond of Eric and Jan. She impressed upon me what wonderful people they were. I'm sorry I didn't know my cousin Eric very well and I feel I have truly missed an opportunity but it is because I live in California. I send Jan and the family blessings and I hope our paths will cross when I visit Portland.

Eric was one of the finest gentlemen I have met in my 40 years in the construction industry. Eric was a man of his word. He was always fair and a pleasure to work with. He will be missed.

As a relatively new Arlington Club member, I was greatly looking forward to getting to know him. He will be missed.
