Not sure what to say?

I knew Eric through my father, William, and I had the pleasure of working with him while I was at SAIC in the late 1990's. He was a unique person and a talented engineer. He will be remembered fondly as a mentor and friend of my family.

As a young engineer, Eric was one of the first senior engineers with whom I interacted. His interest in protecting data and cataloging it, was an influence on me. When working on cryogenic fluid management testing for deep space travel, I found his records from previous cryogenic management testing, I referrenced his information and protected it from being thrown out. What a pleasure to work with. A true gentleman and scholar. He was loved by the Lord.

Eric had a keen technical interest in Pogo. From Shuttle, to Ares, to SLS Eric wanted to make sure that younger engineers had access to his experience and to the reports and data from past programs. This eventually led to LaSSe. I have always appreciated Eric's knowledge and made frequent use of LaSSe. I enjoyed his technical discussions on Pogo and other topics over the years; in person while he was at MSFC and by phone after his retirement.
