Eric Wayne Jones

Eric was a percussion student of mine in my first year of teaching high school many years ago. Seeing him in class was the bright spot in my day. He was the type of person to make people feel loved. Heaven's band just got an amazing drummer!

Eric Jones.......wonderful friend, fabulous colleague, inspiring performer. I will always remember his jazz drumming with me on the Claude Bolling Suite for Two Pianos. Memorable too are the performances of Equal Temperament at Hillsdale. Eric and Stacey "danced together" as they performed. Beautiful and awe inspiring.

Eric, you are greatly missed and irreplaceable.

As a fellow rider with the "Treewhackers" I have observed first hand Eric's infectious smile and personality. His passion for riding and life was easy to see everytime he twisted the throttle!!!! he will be greatly missed and always remembered.

As parents to one of Eric's Hillsdale drummer students, we were especially appreciative of his friendship and mentoring to our son, and amazed by his talent and creativity. He will be missed.

Eric had a knack for getting me to feel lighter when my moods were a bit too heavy. His joy for living life was/is infectious and will be with us for a long time. Best wishes to Stacey, the girls, and all who are deeply missing him right now!
