Not sure what to say?

I would like to extend my condolences to Eric's family. I knew Eric from high school, and last year his friend J Stack and I had a telephone conversation and J told me about Eric. Eric's battle reminds us all of the importance to be vigilant about cancer. The article in the Richmond newspaper was a nice tribute to Eric, and the selected photograph was a good one.

Though I only met Eric for the first time at my brother and Jaye's wedding, he touched my heart with his spirit and smile. My heart goes out to Liz and Eric's family for their tremendous loss. May he rest in peace.

My dear friend Liz. I know how much you love Eric and will miss him. Please know our deepest sympathy is with you in this time of deep sorrow.

All our love,

The Chappell Family

I am saddened by the loss. I met Eric nearly 30 years ago in college and we remained the closest of friends since. I consider myself to have been very blessed to have known him so well and enjoyed many great times together.

Good friend. What I remember most is the transition he made from being a quiet, shy 7th grader to the leader on the court. I also remember his 23 point (?) shelling of the powerful TC Williams team. I also appreciate that after he was BMOC, he was still my friend. My prayers go out for his family.

I went to Falls Church High School with Eric. Eric was indeed a genuine, carefree and fun loving individual who extended himself to everyone around him. He will be missed. My sincere sympathy goes out to his family in their time of loss.

I knew Eric from Falls Church High and I will always remember his ready wit and prowess on the basketball court. He was a good guy and quite unlike anyone else I have ever met. Much like the loss of his brother Paul, I wish I had the chance to say goodbye. My sympathies to Eric's wife and brother Brian.

Bob Boehling e-mailed me with the terrible news of Eric's death. i was so very sorry to hear this news. Eric always had a way of making me laugh from the very first time that i met him. We had many great times both on and off of the basketball cout and although we lost touch over the years, i will never forget Eric Keller as he without a doubt was a great guy. i extend to you my sympathy.
