July 4, 2016 in Port Angeles, WA

I was extremely honored yesterday to have carried the Washington State Fallen Heroes banner of Eric in the 4th of July parade in Port Angeles. Our community expressed its heart-felt appreciation and love for Eric and all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country's freedoms. The parade line was about a mile and a half long, lined the entire way. People stood with hats doffed, hands on hearts and so many applauded these lost warriors as we marched by. As a Viet Nam vet, it...

Eric Dean King:
I miss you my friend. I miss hanging out playing the original Halo. I miss going fishing and hunting with you. You were truly one of maybe 2 or 3 people I would call a best friend in my 44 years. We were supposed to rule the world one day together, working at Yellow Freight.
Just know there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. My oldest daughter took part in a Remembrance run today, and I was honored that she asked for your name. She remembers the times...

Dear Family - Although we've never met & our paths will probably never cross, I feel bound to you by your son. Today 23 May 2015, I ran a race in your sons honor. His name was randomly put on my race bib and I felt compelled to reach out to you. Today I DID THE GRID RACE in Northport NY for Eric!!! He's my hero.

I had the honor of carrying Eric's banner in the Armed Forces Day Parade in Bremerton WA on Sat 5/16/2015. Thank you for your service.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Miss you Eric. 2013 and still think of you everyday.
