Not sure what to say?

Thoughts are with the friends and family at this time. Jim is an amazing mentor, he will be sadly missed

Dear Jim, you still owe me that fishing trip but it can wait for a while as there is still much more we have to do. Mate where has the last 30 years gone? The maritime industry, coast guard, and the RSA have lost one of their most stable and considered advocates and friend. Your recent Kings honour is a tribute to the service you have devoted to our community, lso we remain thankful and mourn your untimely loss. To Jim´s family our deepest condolences and may the sun never set on the memory...

Rest in love with your beloved Cathy Jim.

I will forever be grateful for the love, friendship, and guidance you and Cath so generously shared over the years. Now reunited, I know you will not rest but continue to watch over us all, two beautiful souls, together again, guiding us with love and a sense of humour as guardian angels

A caring soul passionate about the welfare of all. An absolute role model. Rest in Peace friend. Condolences to all who knew him from Hamburg, Germany

Thinking of Jim´s family and his darling wee Biggles and Pinot. Jim was such an amazing human, and such an amazing friend. Even though I´ve been back in Scotland since 2021, we messaged daily and FaceTimed frequently. I will miss him dearly. So thankful to have had him in my life and to have so many amazing memories to cherish. Rest in Peach Bruncle Jim. Love you always, Shona xxx

Gone the winter wet and cold, came the blue and clear sky. God guided to heaven a noble soul, on the shiny morning 22nd of July. He who has passed life's tests perfectly, is bonused with a quick farewell do luckily. Thus said though, shocked and sad are we, with the sudden departure of Mr Lilley. Inspiring, optimistic and patient, we remember most of your bus training moments. You'll be sincerely thanked and missed. RIP Jim.
