Not sure what to say?

Dear Cindy and family,
It's a struggle to find the right words when someone so loved and respected leaves us way too soon. I hope you take great comfort in knowing that everyone whose life was touched by Eric is better for it.
Except for a brief chat at a WHS reunion, I hadn't spoken to Eric since the year we graduated. And yet it's not hard to recall the qualities that made me admire him. He was quiet bordering on shy; he was self-confident without being cocky; he was loyal and...

Eric,
A great guy, mentor and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Rich

I would like to thank everyone on behalf of my mother, Cindy, for posting in the guestbook. We appreciate all the support.

Thanks. Matt

Hi Cindy
It has been so long. Eric's death hit home hard. He was a great fellow. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Love always

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Lorenz family. I have many fond memories of Eric, and I'm proud to have called him my close friend. I am extremely saddened to hear of his passing.

Our deepest sympathies to all. As neighbors and friends for what seemed like forever, we'll all miss him, and we wish you all nothing but happy memories of Eric, and the best of health and happiness to you all.

Growing up alongside your family in Glenmoor was a gift and blessing for me. Eric was certainly a nice part of that. Love and Peace to you all,

Scott Goldberg

My heart and prayers go out to Eric, Cindy, and his family for the loss after so many good years. Eric and his brothers & sisters were my neighbors directly across the street from where I lived. I met many life-long friends through the Lorenz family and I'm still in contact with family members today. I can't trade these friendships for anything They'RE PRICELESS!

Cindy's brother Bruce and I went to Jr.-high together, and the associations go on from there. Brad Crowe (Eric's first...

Cindy and family-
I am so sorry for your loss. As a fellow classmate and athlete of WHS Class of 1970, I will best remember Eric as a talented yet quiet and humble soccer and baseball player. He had a certain dignity about him. He was a fine role-model for all. God Bless.

I first met Eric, (he an upperclassman), as a ninth grade student at WHS. He was a gifted athlete and an outstanding role model, (especially to all unenlightened freshmen). He had the talent, skill, and speed to boast but instead modeled a gentle dignity that is seldom seen in athletes of his caliber today. His efforts to dignify my life, at a very young and awkward age, were unique. It was Eric who showed me the significance of being unpretentious.

My deepest sympathies are...
