Eric Lamont Melton was born on March 12, 1979 in Brooklyn, NY. He moved
to Maryland and attended Benjamin Stoddart Middle School and Maurice J. McDonough
High School, Class of 1997.
On Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, Eric transitioned from this earthly to life eternal.
He leaves to mourn his mother, father, step-father, three sisters, two brothers, one nephew, two
grandmothers and a host of relatives and friends. We loved Eric so very much and he will truly be missed.
His Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Progressive Baptist Church, 5406 Brinkley Road in Temple Hills, Maryland. Viewing, 10am; Service, 11am. Interment, Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland. Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON Funeral Home, P.A., Indian Head, Maryland
I enjoyed the friendship that Eric freely gave while working at AppleBees, Columbia SC. He was a pleasure to be around. To the family and friends, please look up to the heavens and know he is at peace with God Almighty. You are all in my prayers.
