Eric was the first employee in Shop 1 to challenge my engineering capabilities and then my HR capabilities - questioning everything I did. He kept me on my toes and smiling. He was a loyal employee and Advisor...and darn good at running his machine and pushing products to inspection.

While I haven't seen him since I left Helwig (1998), I have never forgotten his smile and "smart" comments...again keeping me on my toes...to this day.

Daddy Peet is what I called him. He was such a character, he made me smile. Daddy Peet was such a giving father, brother,and a great husband who loved to push Momma Joyce buttons! He would just grin when you walk into the room to visit, always smiling and I never once heard him complain. I am truly going to miss that smile that lit up an entire room.
