Not sure what to say?

Dear Matt & Linda,

i am so sorry for your loss.
i never really knew eric but
when i was around him he was
such a sweet man.
i can't even begin to imagine what it feels like to lose a husband/father.
i hope the two of you are doing
well and have love and support
surrounding you to help you
both through all of this pain.

I have the luck and blessing of knowing Eric for over 35 years. We re-did a room in our house which will always remind me of Eric's work, his smile and his love of live. My life is so much richer for being alble to call Eric my friend and the fire pits up-north will seem a little colder and missing a something without him. God has taken and gained one of the very best souls I know.

Dear Linda,

I just learned yesterday of the death of your friend and husband, Eric. I was shocked and so very sad to hear about your life with him cut short. I've just read the wonderful, heartfelt tributes in his memory. I pray you will find comfort in them as you begin your long journey of grieving. I can testify to God's faithfulness on the journey. You have many that will be holding you and your boys up along the way. I am one who will be praying for you. With my deepest and...

Linda,
Kalli told me last night about Eric. It saddends me greatly knowing how your time has been cut short with him. I always enjoyed seeing Eric at St. Luke's because he always had a smile and warm welcome for me. There are very few people like Eric. It's obvious that Eric touched so many people.

I was blessed to know Eric and had the pleasure of working with him for ten years. He was truly a kind and generous person. I'm sure he is already making plans to build a fabulous hockey rink in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Matt,
I just found out about your Dad. I am so sorry! My heart goes out to you and your Dad's family. Your Dad was a very special person. I will always remember his sweet smile, his caring personality, and just what a wonderful guy he was. He loved you very much. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Much love,
Your Aunt Merry and Uncle Bob
