To Eric's family,
Eric and I were in the
Air Force together. We went through "tech school" and the final part of our basic training together at Shepard AFB, in Texas. Subsequent to that, we both, with some of our other friends, wound up in the Philippines. It was a very entertaining period for young men, during which we had great times and sad times. We would like to express our condolences to the extended Raub family. We only briefly touched lives like two raindrops in a storm. The skies have cleared and the rain has disappeared. Your life goes on and your love one will live on through parts of you all. Heike, even in your time of mourning I see your father was a great man through you. Your generosity will never be forgotten. Bless you and your family.

To the Raub family: I am sorry to hear about Eric's death. I pray that your family will be comforted by the "God of all comforts". Again, my condolences to all the family.
