I was shocked when i found out about Eric. I always remembered how much Eric loved his family and his umpiring.I worked with Eric back in the early 90's and he was always a great friend to talk to about sports,family,television or work. And although our paths went seperate way's and we hadn't kept in touch,i feel very sad as i write this. My deepest sympathies to Robin,Matthew,Michael And his entire family. RIP Eric

After we read about Eric in the newspaper we were so sad, but also it was nice to read about a really good man that was raised next store. He exceled in baseball when he was a boy and now his boys do too. our sympathy to Robin, Matt, Micheal, Mom and Dad and the whole FAMILY.

Eric was a fine teacher of the game as well as a fair and very knowledgeable umpire. He will be missed by the baseball community, especially those he helped understand and play the game.
