Eric Richards

Gosh, I think of Eric often, he always had the funniest quips and jokes which I've repeated many times. Always a smile. We also had many meaningful conversations that always ended with us not taking life too seriously. He was a truly unique guy that I have missed talking to these last years. Continued rest to you, Eric.

I just saw the In Memoriam for Eric in the March issue of the Michigan Bar Journal. I am so sorry to have missed the original notice and opportunity to visit with his family. I knew and worked with Eric over the years, especially during his time at Warner Norcross & Judd. He was dedicated to his clients and work, for sure. I read of Eric's passing in the Michigan Bar Journal. To his family, my deepest condolences. I first met Eric at Wayne Law. He always sat near the front, very inquisitive and smart. I will missing and others who have passed from our class and section

Although I have not seen Eric in many, many years, I can still hear that unmistakable signature laugh, which was never heartier than when Eric was perfecting the comedic timing of a well rehearsed story where he was the brunt of his own punchline. Undeniably a true gentleman through and through. Sincere condolences to Karen and family, Carl, Sue, Bruce, and Julie. RIP to a Dear Friend.
