Eric P. Salvatore

Eric P. Salvatore,39,of 93 Central Avenue, Dalton, died at home on Friday from a sudden heart attack. Born in Pittsfield, he is the son of Alfred and Karen Cornwell Salvatore of Dalton. He was a graduate of Wahconah High School and attended North Adams State for two years. He worked as a mental health aide at the Colburn School in Sheffield and for Verizon for 8 years. He enjoyed motorcycles,snowmobiling, the N.Y. Giants, and Boston Bruins. He had also competed in M.M.A. He enjoyed being a dad. Besides his parents, he leaves his life partner, Joanne Litchfield of Dalton; two brothers Alfred F. Salvatore of Lanesboro and Bill Salvatore and his wife Nancy of Windsor, his paternal grandmother Barbara Salvatore of Dalton and his daughter, Tiana Leone Salvatore of Pittsfield and step-son, Drew Leone also of Pittsfield, and nieces Kaleigh, Cheyenne and Brandyn Salvatore. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Eric P. Salvatore who died Friday Feb. 4, 2011 will be held on Wednesday February 9th at the DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME at 11AM conducted by the Rev. Mr. George Morel, deacon at St. Agnes Church in Dalton. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the Dery-Foley Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7pm.
