Not sure what to say?

I can't believe its been 17 years since I lost my friend, Rick. I still think of him often, especially when watching Little Leaguers play. I see a ball hit to the shortstop and he throws to firstbase. That was me and Rick for so many years. We always had so much fun. I hope these kids today will have those same memories. Some day we'll get to do it again Rick.

I knew Eric at Notre Dame. I had seen him at the '02 reunion. Fellow classmates and I were shocked to learn of his death. We occasionally google to see if there has been any progress in identifying the hit-and-run driver. We have found nothing. Our condolences, Phyllis and Paul.

"Ricky Schlueter" as soon as I heard my brother Ron Mays mention his name I remembered him. He played baseball with my brother when they were kids. Oh! What a big crush on him did I have. My brother said I even stole a kiss ( I don't remember that)! Ron said he was quite embarressed. I am 8 years younger and they were in high school (perhaps) He must have been the first boy I ever kissed.I can see he must have grown to be a great man and will be deeply missed.I am so very sorry he died .I...

Dear Phyllis, Paul and Andrea-

I was a childhood friend of Rick’s. We grew up playing baseball together in Cincinnati. The last time we talked was when we were both home on Christmas break from college. Even as a young man Rick was a gentleman, honest and respectful of others. I could always count on Rick to do the right thing in any situation. From reading comments from those who knew him more recently I can tell he never lost any of those virtues. Rick always had a ready...

I was saddened to hear the news of Eric's accident. I worked with Eric numerous times during my years at Koch and Flint Hills. I valued my friendship and working relationship with such an ethical person and true gentleman. He will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Schlueter Family:
I am sorry for your loss and the terrible pain that you must be experiencing. Your family is in my daily prayers. Eric is missed by so many of us who had the priviledge of knowing and working with him. His personal and professional demeanor was admired by so many of us. His way of remaining calm, especially during tense times, was contageous. Eric demonstrated what it means to live a principle-centered life. I believe that he is with the Lord, and that we, as...

Dear Schlueter Family,
You have my deepest sympathies. I only knew Eric for short time. But as others from ConocoPhillips have mentioned, he was an inspiration at work. I feel blessed to have crossed paths with him. I pray that God will carry you through the pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Phyllis and Family,
I am so very sorry to have just heard about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Eric was one of the finest people I ever met and worked with in the petroleum business, a few years ago. He was a kind, honest, sincere and pleasant person that I always looked forward to meeting with. Please give my heartfelt sympathy to your family.

Dear Phyllis, Andrea and Paul, Jan and I send our sincere condolences for your loss. Eric was a wonderful man who made a positive difference to all those those who knew him. Please know that we are here for you if you need anything.
