Eric T. Snay, 31, of Charlton, Massachusetts, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Gulf War, an Auburn, Massachusetts, police officer, died at Hospice Residence in Worcester, Massachusetts, on Thursday, March 7, 2002, following a struggle with a brain tumor. Calling hours are scheduled for Sunday, March 10, 2002, 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., at Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, P.O. Box 198, Auburn. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, March 11, 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street, Webster, Massachusetts. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. Full military honors will be conferred. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the Snay Family, c/o Webster First Federal Credit Union, 1 New Bond Street, Worcester, MA 01606. Arrangements entrusted to Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, Auburn, Massachusetts.
Eric was such a great kid. I only knew him thru the 8th grade, but remember him like it was yesterday. I can only imagine all of the lives he has touched!

Although I never personally met Eric, being a close friend of his sister Sue, I was able to see just how wonderful a person he truly was. I pray that his children will carry on his legacy of goodness, devotion to his family to and to the community. My prayers and love are with his entire family.
