Eric Lee Spencer “E-Rock” our beloved father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend departed this earth to be with his creator on Thursday, December 22, 2016.  He was born on November 22, 1978 in Claremore, OK to Bill and Lou (Watashe) Spencer.  He attended Kellyville Elementary and is a 1997 graduate from Tahlequah Sequoyah High School.  He devoted much of this time to his three beautiful children, Erica Te-neet-ke, Jazmyne Oscada and Cire Yecke Spencer, whom he loved very much.  They were his pride and joy.  He enjoyed watching them participate in their activities, watching sports (Florida State Seminoles), giving advice to young athletes, going fishing and ceremonial life. 


Eric was a lifelong member at Polecat Ceremonial Grounds and a member of the NAC Yuchi Chapter.  He was the Head Hooper for many years and also a Featherman.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Lou Ellen Spencer; father, Evans (Bill) Spencer; brother, Shane Spencer; grandparents, Mary and George Watashe and Irene and Silas Spencer.


He is survived by his three loving children, Erica Te-neet-ke Spencer, Jazmyne Oscada Spencer, Cire Yecke Spencer all of Broken Arrow; brother, Kenneth “Cheyenne” Watashe, spouse Tennille; nephew, Sage Watashe; niece, Jaidan all of Enid; brother Paige White, spouse Alice; niece, Maysa and Kailyn; nephews, CotanE, Keland and Keldon all of Sapulpa; brother, Yoney Spencer, spouse Janette; nieces, Taygann, Alyssa and Sadie Spencer of Kellyville; brother, George Watashe, spouse Kerie; nieces, Kaydence and Kaitlyn; nephew, Kylar all from Bristow; and numerous cousins whom he called brothers and sisters.


Wake service will be held from 6-8 pm on Sunday, January 1, 2017 with Funeral services following at 10:30 am on Monday, January 2, 2017 both at The Kellyville Indian Center, Kellyville, OK.   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.  (918) 224-1313
