Peppler Funeral Home - Allentown Obituary

Eric Ross Waters, 56, of Yardville NJ passed away suddenly on March 24, 2022.

Eric was originally from Robbinsville and graduated from Allentown High School in 1983 and attended Mercer County Community College.

He lived in Phoenix Arizona, New York and then in Washington DC where he worked as a manager at the Old Ebitt Grill. He has worked in the food industry for most of his life, starting off as a busboy at the Golden Coach Diner back in the early 80s. He worked as a waiter at Carmines in NYC for many years, returning to NJ in 2015. He was currently employed by Hamilton Tap and Grill.

Eric was a collector of Marvel and DC character toys. He loved everything Batman and Superman and was always seen in his character t-shirts and socks. A fun hobby that brought him much enjoyment. He loved to read and hang out with his dog Tito.

Eric was a good soul with a kind heart and was always willing to help others in need. His wit and sense of humor will be missed by us all.

Eric is predeceased by his mother and father, Dolores and Harry Waters. He is survived by his sisters, Kim Waters and Valerie Nebbia (Todd) and his brother Kurt Waters (Lisa). Also, by his 4 nieces and nephews, Alex Nebbia, Blake Nebbia (fiancé Madison Mather), Cole Warner and Peyton Waters and his cousin Todd Schmitt. Eric will be missed by his dog Tito who was his best buddy for the past 8 years.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Resurrection Lutheran Church at 4315 Nottingham Way in Hamilton NJ on Sunday, April 3rd at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amazing Mutts Rescue, 19 Arneytown Road, Cream

Not sure what to say?

Eric was one of those bright lights in our Allentown High School days. My memory of him is always smiling, always full of life. So sad to hear of his passing. My love and prayers to his family. So sorry for your loss. Kurt - I always remember you two going on adventures together.

I am so shocked and saddened. My husband and I were at the Hamilton Tap and Grill recently at a business meet and greet and we spoke with Eric. Prayers are being sent out to his family, and those who loved him. He is missed but never far from our hearts until we meet again.

Eric, I always enjoyed working with you at the Ebbitt. You always brighten my shift. Catch you on the flip side. ❤

Dream forever Eric...
