Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Eric's passing too late to attend his services. My memories of the Yingst family are always with me. Eric was such a good man and so easy to talk to. I know he made an impact on many people's lives.

We are very sorry to hear about the loss of Eric. We will truly miss him at CPFC. I(Paul) always looked forward to talking with him at the pool, solving all the problems of the world and spending more time than we should "flapping our jaws" He always asked me if I was ready to "meet my maker"? I know he was and is in the place where he eventually wanted to be. He is a great guy and was a good friend. He will surely be missed!!!

Joy and Family,
I want you to know what a difference Past Yingst made in my life. I grew up in the church and was saved in my teens; however I did nothing to grow as a Christian. I didn't know it at time but my sister Tina Marshall and here family were praying for me because they didn't know for sure that I was saved. About 5 Labor Day's ago I felt so burdend by my lack of committement to the Lord. I even thought that I wasn't really saved because I wasn't growing. Tina took me to see...

We will miss Eric. We so much enjoyed our exchanges on family, religion and politics at Uncle Al's. Eric's invitation to visit and see the work done on the house which was Uncle David and Aunt Alice's, sadly went unfulfilled. Joy is suffering a most difficult loss and we are thinking of her.
We were unable to attend the funeral and hope that this message will convey our thoughts and prayers in a way which Eric would understand and appreciate.

Joy & family,
Mel & I are so sorry to hear of Eric's passing.
Hugs
& prayers at this time of loss

Joy, Eric and Rachel

Although we did not cross paths as often as I would have liked your husband / father had a profound impact on this believer. I suspect that the Lord puts the key people in your life at the just the right moment to motivate and inspire.

As a new born in Christ Pastor was the first fundamental truly Bible preaching man I sat under. I said to myself that first Sunday at the "Little Church in the Valley" - I can handle this. No soft dancing ear tingling mush...

Joy, Eric, Rachel and family,
I wish that I could be there to share in your sorrow. Over the years, we have shared so many great memories. Of course, my best memories are of being a part of your family for a year, while I went to law school. You treated me like a daughter.
Pastor was a man of conviction, who never hesitated to do the right thing. Two months ago, Pastor called me and told me that he felt that God was laying on his heart to see my Dad, who was in a hospital in downtown...

Our thoughts and Prayers go out to you and Eric and Rachel and their families. Although we have known you for nearly 20 years, it took just a few months for us to feel like part of your family. We have many fond memories of times at church, family times together, and times that were hard and we knew Pastor Eric and you would be there for us. Please know that Sue and I and all your friends at AVBC are here for you and your family. Please allow us to be there for you as you were for all of...

JOY OUR FAMILY IS VERY SADDENED TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF PASTOR YINGST. HE HAD A SPECIAL PLACE IN ALL OF OUR HEARTS AND HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. WE WILL REMEMBER HOW HE UNSELFISHLY GAVE OF HIS TIME TO EASE THE PAIN OF OTHERS. MAY THE PRAYERS OF MANY HELP EASE YOUR PAIN.
