Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences for the whole Zaenglein family.
Eric was a wonderful man who I grew to love during his time at MCH. His smile could always brighten my day. Whether playing eukre, listening to stories about his family or time at the lake, or sharing recipes for me to try out spending time with Eric never felt like work! I miss him everyday and will continue to as he was such a rare and special person! I am honored to have know him and he has left an unmistakable imprint on my life.

For the entire Zanglein clan,

Eric...or rather Mr. Zanglein as I knew him for a majority of my life was an awesome neighbor and always such a welcoming and warm face to see every year down at the lake. I loved hearing all of his stories about the lake "back in the day" and how all the parents used to run around and find trouble in their younger days--I think I was inspired by a few of these stories! Later in life I was in awe of his aviation experience and tales. His influence...

Dear Jan, Rick, and Lynn,
My sincere sympathy to you and your families at this time. Your dad was a family friend and a great neighbor. He was a devoted husband and an honored serviceman.
I remember friends (Ruth, Unc, Mert, Fred, your mom and your dad) gathered together on our cottage porch as the summer sun set across the lake behind the mountains. They were sharing cake and memories and creating memories for me and my familly. I remember Eric, Doris, and you three there...

Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences are with the family of Eric. He was a good friend, I enjoyed meeting with him once a month at the "Geriatric Pilots Association" breakfast/lunch. We spoke of many things among which of course were flying and MS. He and I enjoyed good cigars and a fine drink on occasion and in the summer would stop at Shoreless Acres for a meeting of the minds. I will always be honored to count Eric among my friends and to have made his acquaintence. The care he gave...

Sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one, Eric. Though I knew him for only a short while, his memory will remain forever. He was caring, kind, and very amusing. He will truly be missed by all of us at Monroe Community Hospital, Hope 3.

Eric was a wonderful friend and a fine gentleman. I only saw him infrequently during the summers when visiting his neighbors the Weiders at Conesus, but he always had time for a joke, a laugh and friendly advice when warranted. He provided many joys to his wonderful family and they in turn gave him his greatest source of happiness. My best to a great family and a respectful "fare thee well" to a man I admired.
