Joan, I am so sorry to hear of Eric's passing. Jane Reed called me thank heavens as I probably wouldn't have noticed it in the Globe. I have such wonderful memories of him in endless meetings at ESA. He had such a funny sense of humor - every now and then it would really get me. I send you and the kids (grownups now) all my sympathies and as you wend your way along without him in the days and weeks ahead. I lost Jim 15 years ago and it reminds me of those early days.
