On behalf of my family I would just like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your many comforting thoughts and prayers. Your cards, comments, calls and many other acts of kindness have helped to ease our sorrow. Erica was a special person to us all and she will be truly missed. I do ask that you please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers and again thank you all very much.

I had the opportunity to work with Erica in Birmingham. I remember her as a strong woman. She will be missed.

I have known Erica for about 24 years, she possessed a kind and wholesome soul. There was always a smile found upon her face. I can remember seeing her for the first time after loss of contact for 5 years--she grabbed me, hugged me and it felt like the first time I had met her as a kid. My heart is heavy knowing that such a kindred spirit and beloved friend has gone.
