Erica Thompson

As the leaves begin to fall, tears come to my eyes once again remembering beautiful, smiling Erica - my goddaughter. A Mass is being celebrated in memory of Erica. There is joy in my heart knowing that Erica is with God and the angels in His beautiful garden. Barbara Murphy

When I came across "God's Heavenly Garden", my thoughts turned to Erica - a sweet, smiling child so full of life that I remember. The poem also reminds me of Herb, who passed away three years ago and is in "God's Heavenly Garden" with Erica. "Sometimes God picks the flower that is still in full bloom; sometimes the rosebud's chosen that we feel He's picked too soon." "....He chose the very best." My thoughts and prayers are of Erica and Herb, who so loved Erica.

Dear Cousins,
I am so saddened for you all. I know what a treasure Erica has been for each of you - a shining star. I hope her light will keep you strong and help you to get through each day. Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.
