Please accept my sympathy for your loss. From the time I was a little girl, Erick Gumto was a respected household name. Perhaps my dad, Tom Hopkins, who would have been 98, knew Mr. Gumto from the old St. Peter's Church. Seems to me that we used to get our flowers every summer from his greenhouses above Aspinwall. Uncle Bob Taylor wouldn't buy flowers anywhere, but the Penn Flower Shop. Most recently, I saw Mr. Gumto providing arrangements and plants for the front of the chapel built at...
