Dear Margarethe, Dieter, Wendy, and Karsten,

Our families were all terribly saddened to hear of Erich’s untimely death. Please accept our deepest condolences. Erich was a very generous person who brought a smile to the face of all who met him. We reflect on happier times when we met Erich years ago in California (and borrowed his car) or a few years later when he was a welcome guest at our wedding. We were cheered to hear of his own wedding and the subsequent birth of his son. He...

Erich, Ulli, and Katja 2001

Dear Margarethe, Dieter, Wendy, and Karsten,
we would like to share this photo from 2001 with you, when Erich guided us in San Francisco.
We had a wonderful day there, and this is how we will remember Erich: extremely nice, so friendly and open, and having an enormous amount of humour.
Our thoughts are with you!
Ulli & Katja (Munich)

Dear Kirchers,
You have our heart-felt sympathy for the loss of Erich. Our thoughts are with you and your family and with Karsten. We will keep Erich in our thoughts and prayers and we will light a candle for him.
We will always keep him in our hearts and remember him as he was.

Dear Margarethe, Dieter, Wendy & Karsten

we are so sorry to hear of Erich's death and would like to express our deepest sympathy. Remembering your last visit in Munich we still see him in those traditional Bavarian clothes (and the small bells on his legs) with a big smile. This unique personality we will never forget!

For the next days and weeks we wish you strength to bear with the loss of a loved husband and father. We are thinking of you at this very difficult time.

Dear Wendy, Karsten,
Margarethe and Dieter,
The loss of your husband, father and son is difficult to bear. We share your grief. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Margarethe & Deiter, Martin & Elizabeth,
I have been deeply saddened by Erick's death knowing the sorrow you feel with this loss. I remember with admiration the profound love always seen in your family.I saw it in Germany for Deiter's birthday when both of your sons spoke so lovingly of their father, and with Deiter and Erick on the yellow VW restoration project. Let these memories comfort and speak the depths of your love. My love to you all in this difficult time.
