Not sure what to say?

This really was one special man. That twinkle in his eye and the mischevious giggle won't ever be extinguished. It was truly an honor to know him.

Leonard was fun to have as a friend and class mate at Alhambra High School. I remember him always having a big smile on his face and as a student he had a passion for learning.I pray that the Lord will welcome you Leonard into Paradise as I am sure you have earned your place. Rest In Peace.

A beautiful obit for such a very special person. We so much enjoyed sitting across from you at the class reunion and want to extend sincere sympathy for your loss.Mary [Willson] and Martin Johnson

My sincere condolences go out to the family. Leonard was a prince among human beings. I last saw him at the 49er reunion last year. He had not changed since high school, affable, sharing remembrances and stories as if it was yesterday. Unfortunately there are so few such as Leonard. Good bye Leonard! You will be sorely missed by those who were fortunate enough in our life time to have known you.

It was my privilege to teach with Leonard while at Castle Rock Elementary in Walnut Creek. He was a wonderful teacher, and a joy to know. I am so sorry to learn of his untimely death. He will be very greatly missed.

I remember Leonard only from high school days but he was a wonderful classmate and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
Norma (Ferrarini) Gamba.

At our last class reunion it was great to see Leonard again and sit next to him. I enjoyed talking to Leonard about the time when he was working at the Santa Cruz boardwalk during college summer break. At the reunion we talked about his navy days, and he would have been interested to know that our son is now an Admiral. Leonard was always smiling. Barbara (Yakim) Gilbeau
