Giving His All, All the Time
Erik Isbrandtsen's approach to life was "Do it 150 percent or don't do it at all," said one close friend, Scott Foster. "Whether it was working, working out, playing basketball, playing golf, playing soccer or going out at night, he gave it his all."

Mr. Isbrandtsen, a 30-year-old industrial sales trader at Cantor Fitzgerald's equity desk, always hoped to move back to the Boston area, where he had grown up, where he had starred for the Babson College soccer team. But he stayed in New York, Mr. Foster said, because in his industry, the greatest success could be achieved here.

Another Babson soccer player, David McEachern, remembered how Mr. Isbrandtsen, a midfielder, had come back from a bad junior-year injury in better condition than anyone else on the team the next fall. That drive was evident throughout his friend's life. "If anybody could do 80 years in 30 good ones, he could," Mr. McEachern said. "Good restaurants, good clubs; he enjoyed the finer things in life."

Not sure what to say?

23 years later and I remember you this September 11 th as I have every year since. I have so many wonderful memories of the house in Sea Girt with all of the cousins getting together! Your grandparents wedding at the Yankee Clipper is another great memory.. there were so many kids that they ran out of Maraschino cherries! I think too today of your parents and I pray that God will comfort them and give them strength. Until we meet again my dear cousin God bless you!
...

Erik, even though it's been many years since you were taken from us on that tragic day, you are still missed and remembered fondly. Your kindness, spirit, and the impact you had on those around you continue to live on in our hearts. Time may pass, but the memories we shared and the difference you made in our lives will never fade. You will always be remembered, my friend.

Erik- as you know, I loved you like a brother (BeRik). I celebrated my 50th with Paul, Kenmore and Jaffe- we all wished you would have been celebrating with us. RIP my fine brother. Miss you.

Thinking of you today and your parents as every September 11th. Rest in Peace Erik.

Second Counsins, from opposite coasts, and nearly a generation in time apart, we DID actually meet once, at Cortereal. You were just a kid then, but I do now recall. I've remembered you, each year & more often, at countless Altars of God all these years, as again today. May you, with all who perished innocently that day, Rest in God's Peace.

18 years...you are still in my heart.

Thinking of you today as I do everyday.

Thinking of you today pal!

17 years...I miss you...so very much.
