Erik T. Eaton STAUNTON

Erik "Xavier" Tremaine Eaton, 30, of Staunton, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010.

He was born on February 2, 1980, in Staunton, a son of "Pau Pau" Allen and Jean Payne Cyhanick.

Family members include a daughter, Kaylee Layne Eaton Clark; two sisters, Sherry Payne Sweet of Keezletown and Misty Loveless, of Staunton; two brothers, Christopher "Kim" Payne of Staunton and Clint Payne of Harrisonburg; a stepbrother, Andrew Cyhanick of Waynesboro; a stepsister, Tasha Lloyd of Stuarts Draft; best friend and brother-in-heart, John Scott; and special friends, Hope, Dubby, Jermaine, and family.

He was preceded in death by his childhood friend, Joe Dykes on May 17, 2005.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Thornrose Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of Allen and Jean Cyhanick starting at 3 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, for a remembrance of good times. BYOB.
