Lindfors, Erik A. Age 87, of Aitkin, formerly of Brooklyn Park. Beloved husband and father. Born in Sweden on January 3, 1920, died on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007. Preceded in death by brothers, Al and Helge. Survived by wife of 60 years, Florence M.; children, Diane Seufort, Loanne Lindfors and Don (Amy) Lindfors; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Cassidy, Jennifer (Brian) Peterson, Jill (Brian) Schreiner, Heather Carmony, Katie Lindfors and Emily Lindfors; 6 great-grandchildren. Erik was a WWII Army veteran and worked at Osterhus Publishing as a printer for 45 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Kidney Foundation. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Service Thursday, 11 AM, with visitation one hour before service and also Wed. (TODAY), 5-8 PM, all at: Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel 763-533-8643 5125 W. Broadway, Crystal

Thoughout my relationship and marriage with Erik's granddaughter (Jenny), Florence and Erik have always welcomed me into the family with open arms. I was truly blessed to have known Erik, whom I will remember with laughter as well as by his work ethic. I only knew him since he was about 75, and even during that time it was hard to keep him from working on the things he loved; especially crafts for his grandchildren.
