Erik Lund

I remember Erik from childhood in Cloquet as a smiling, happy boy, always hosting gatherings of friends in our kid-crowded neighborhood. After living several other places I have settled back in Cloquet, and I always think happily back to those times when I pass the 'old neighborhood.' I'm sorry he's gone -- I'd like his family to know he has been and will be thought fondly of by us 'kids' from that Cloquet neighborhood.

To Erik's Family,

Jeff Neau recently informed me of Erik's untimely passing. My deepest sympathies are with all of you. Jeff's email gave me a chance to think about all the times running around the neighborhood in Cloquet and eating crabapples until my stomach hurt. Erik was always a load of fun and a great friend. I can only imagine that those traits also carried over to his adult life. Even though I haven't spoken to Erik in years, I will miss him.

To Erik's family - I graduated with Erik and will always remember his great smile. I was fortunate to talk to him Saturday night at the fair. I will remember Erik and the family in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear the news about Erik. Seems like only yesterday that we were playing with Erik and Kaia in our backyards in Hibbing, MN while they were visiting their grandparents. What fond memories. My deepest sympathy to you all.
