Erik has been on our Gaston First Baptist Church prayer list off and on for the past 12 years since our daughter Marci Pound Newman sent a heart wrenching letter asking us to please pray for him. I have been away from S Carolina for many years. My most vivid memory of Erik (as a child) is a hurricane of a kid - running through our offices, asking a hundred questions about pencils, carpet color, the finger prints on my computer screen....
