Not sure what to say?

Dear Mom, I was at the Doctors office today. While waiting, it came to me one of your sayings. Getting old is not for sissy's. I now understand what you meant by it, and you are 100% correct. I just now grin and bear it the best to my abilities. You and Dad are always part of my memories and dreams. Rest in Peace. Love you, Mom Your Son, Bob

Dear Mom, Thinking of you today, brought up a memory. How I was able to have the patience to teach you on how to drive. I saw how determined you were to have your independence to do whatever you desired. You and Dad instilled this same independence in all your son´s lives. Your teachings have made me the man I am today. Rest in Peace. Love you Mom, Your Son Bob

Dear Mom, another September and memories abound for which I am grateful. Growing up, you blessed the family with your cooking and baking skills. I enjoyed in the fall season when you prepared the best apple sauce. When you added "klimpes", or dough balls, I was in heaven. May you rest in peace! Son, Juris

Dear Mom, Rest in peace. I understand the feelings you expressed to me after the loss of Dad. I sincerely believe that one can not comprehend, unless one goes thru the same stages of grief. It was great to be able converse with you, I miss those conversations. I survive, by living one day at a time. Love you Mom, Your Son, Bob

Rest in Peace Mom. I miss you and Dad every day. It is yours and Dad´s strength that I have learned to keep me going. My memories are the most precious moments in life. Your Son Bob

Today is a brilliant September day and I have many thoughts going through my mind. The most important one is being grateful for the memories of you and Dad and how you both set an example of living and loving your family. Mom, you and I shared some great moments enjoying life on the Potomac with beautiful scenery of wildlife going by or waterscapes with the moon or sun rising or setting. With the unsettling craziness of the world, I am glad we can choose to see beauty around us. Thank you....

Dear Mom,
I am back again at Woodland Point, same as last year. I am helping Janis, putting up a flagpole on the new pier. We are also installing a weather station at the pier. I always enjoy spending time here with Susan and Janis. It brings back great memories of boy hood times here with our whole family. I do surely miss talking to you and Dad. I am truly fortunate of being able to visit our family’s home on the River, where I receive a connection to our past and history. My...

Dear Mom,
I am here at your House, remembering how you finally let go and joined Dad forever. It is a beautiful September morning. It is great to be able to reminisce how you and Dad steered us boys to be sons of yours, all independent and critical thinkers. I very much miss our roundtable discussions. It was those discussions which helped me become the man I am today.
I am so glad that your home is still in our family, Susan and Janis have taken over the stewardship of your legacy...

Dear Mom- Today is a bright cheerful September morning and I sip my coffee and try to collect my thoughts. September was not easy on you and now it seems difficult to me as well. I miss you and Dad. Seems that not a day goes by when there has not been a thought or memory of you or Dad that has crossed my mind. I am grateful for that.

There are good things as well as difficult thing in regard to family. It is not easy to verbalize the complications. Kathy and I have 6...
