I wish I'd had the chance to get to know Erika better. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Erika had a beautiful smile that she showed to others, even strangers, without reserve. She was quiet & kind with a gently spirit. She will be missed greatly.

To be honest I'm not good at these things. Erika was shy and opened up when she got to know you. We always had English class together and our teachers would make sure I sat beside her because she would calm me down. I was rash and always on edge but being around her seemed help me through the class I hated most. She would help me when I couldn't understand something.
