I didn't know Erika, but the heartfelt and well-written tribute to her life gave me some great perspctive as to what a special individual she was. My sincere condolences to the Cronk family...and best to you always.

I was so sad to have read this news. I knew Erika in elementary school, but we lost track of each other over the years. I was the new kid in school and found a friend in Erika. She was the only other person in my grade who had a deep knowledge of Lord of the Rings and Tolkien. We bonded over those books, drawing, and played on the same basketball team during school. Erika was a brilliant human being. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Best, Michael
