Read MoreI met Erika when she volunteered at Washington Elementary. She was so kind and so proud of her family. I admired her for many reasons, but I suppose mainly for treating all of the students as if they were her own children. I am sorry for your loss and have you in my prayers. I was blessed to have known such a special lady.

I knew Erika for many years. I was her doctor and took care of her grandchildren. Erika and I were from Erlangen Germany. She was a wonderful and very caring person. She took such great care of her grandchildren. I was close to her and will miss her.
